Question: Diagnosing front wheel hub assembly going bad

I've been noticing more noise coming from front end...has sort of snuck up on me.

When I turn one way (at speed) it gets a big worse..and when I turn the other way it totally goes away.

On other vehicles this has meant a bad bearing...looks like on the silverado I have to change the entire hub assembly.

Anyway..I think it is the right one going bad..when I turn to the left (and put more weight on right..) noise gets a bit worse...when I turn to right and take weight off the right side...the sound goes away completely.....quiet...like I remember.

I haven't jacked up front end yet to wiggle...other than wiggling...anything else I can do to diagnose this issue...before I spend $250 on a new hub assembly...
