Who would you buy a Volvo for?

It's really about safety isn't it? Roll-over protection, SIPS, airbags everywhere, and legendary safety engineered into the structure. Great Dynaudio stereo, too!
They really should have kept the smooth 6-cyl turbo and added the 5-speed trans from the V-8. That would have helped in the MPG dept.
